HOW IT IS STRUCTURED
The BBC operates according to various sectors which include Director- Generals Office and Executive, Radio, BBC North, Finance and Business, Digital and Strategy, News Group and Television. The BBC is further distinguished by the Royal Charter of which the BBC Trust falls under . The Royal Charter explicitly recognises the BBC's editorial independence and sets out it's public purpose . Governing the BBC is the Trust which protects and represents the public of whom are license fee payers. The Trust also provides purpose remits, issues service license and holds the Executive Board to account for its performance in delivering BBC services.The Executive Board is responsible for the operational management and organisation of the BBC.
